  However, notwithstanding the above, notification may not be provided in cases that fall under any of the following items. In such cases, the Company will inform the individual that notification will not be provided, along with the reasons for not providing notification.

  • Cases where notifying the individual of the purpose of use may pose a risk of harm to the life, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.
  • Cases where notifying the individual of the purpose of use may pose a risk of harm to the Company’s rights or legitimate interests.
  • Cases where it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency in the performance of duties prescribed by law, and notifying the individual of the purpose of use may hinder the execution of those duties.
  • Cases where the purpose of use is obvious.

• Disclosure of Personal Information

  The Company will disclose personal information to the individual in a manner agreed upon with the individual if a request for disclosure is received.
  However, notwithstanding the above, disclosure may be refused in cases that fall under any of the following items. In such cases, the Company will explain the reasons why disclosure cannot be provided.

• Correction of Personal Information

  The Company will, upon receiving a request from the individual to correct, add to, or delete personal information (hereinafter referred to as "corrections") on the grounds that the information is not accurate, conduct fact-checking as necessary within the scope required to achieve the purpose of use, and make the corrections without delay.
  If corrections are made, or if it is decided not to make corrections, the Company will inform the individual of that fact and the reasons therefor.

• Suspension of Use of Personal Information

  If the Company receives a request from the individual to suspend the use of, or delete, personal information (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use") on the grounds that the use of personal information by the Company exceeds the purposes that were previously made public or notified, or that the information was obtained through improper means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation and, to the extent necessary to correct the violation, promptly carry out the suspension of use, or take measures to protect the rights of the individual.
  If suspension of use is carried out, or if it is decided not to carry out suspension of use, the Company will inform the individual of that fact and the reasons therefor.

• Suspension of Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

  If the Company receives a request from the individual to stop providing personal information to a third party on the grounds that personal information has been provided to a third party without falling under cases permitted by law and without obtaining the individual's prior consent, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation and promptly stop providing the information to the third party or take measures to protect the rights of the individual.
  If the provision to a third party is stopped, or if it is decided not to stop the provision to a third party, the Company will inform the individual of that fact and the reasons therefor.
